Dear Vincent Massey Families:
Thank you for your support for a positive first week back to school after March Break. Each classroom continued to collaborate on positive classroom and school routines to maximize the focus on student well-being and achievement.
We are also holding “Grade Assemblies” with each grade from Grade 1 - 8, where we are continuing to highlight the strategies we can use together to uphold the school code of conduct goals:
Treat each other with kindness and respect
Support learning and keep distractions out of class
Help others when they are in need
We encourage our families to ask their children about the Grade Assemblies and the goals they have set for the next few weeks.
This week, we are looking forward to welcoming families to our Vibe Night on Tuesday night.
Additionally, our Grade 8 Grad Photo Retakes are on Tuesday, March 25.
SCC VIBE NIGHT - MOVIE NIGHT MARCH 25 “DC LEAGUE OF SUPER PETS”
Be sure to save the date for this free event for your family.
Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian for the event.
Come in your PJ’s and bring a blanket to enjoy an evening with our community.
GRADE 8 GRAD PHOTO RETAKES - TUESDAY, MARCH 25
Grade 8 Grad Photo Retakes are on Tuesday, March 25 and are available to all students.
P.A. DAY REMINDER - MONDAY MARCH 31
Our next P.A. Day is on Monday, March 31. All educators will be engaged in professional learning. There are no classes for students.
HOT LUNCHES AT VINCENT MASSEY
Our School Community Council offers a variety of hot lunch days for our students and we encourage families to take advantage of the convenience of these lunches while also supporting our school programs.
We strongly request that families refrain from ordering food from delivery services (e.g. UberEats, Skip The Dishes, etc.)
These ordered lunches often arrive with incomplete information such as student name, and we do not have staff available to distribute these lunches in a timely manner.
If you are treating your child to a special lunch, we ask you to consider taking your child out for lunch rather than ordering a delivery lunch.

PURDY’S FUNDRAISER - ORDER UNTIL MARCH 30
The Purdy’s Fundraiser is back in time for spring. Orders are welcome until March 30. Funds raised will be used to enhance the gardens at the entrance of the school.

The published schedule will remain current whenever new content is added. If you have any questions, please contact your child’s teacher.
