Dear Vincent Massey Families:
With the arrival of the final week of the 2024-2025 school year, we express our gratitude and appreciation for your partnership and collaboration in your child’s learning throughout the school year. Whether you were supporting your child with learning at home, having conversations about upholding a positive learning community, communicating with your child’s educational staff about their achievement and well-being, attending VIBE Nights and concerts, driving to and cheering at athletic events, your support makes our learning community vibrant and strong.
This week we will be celebrating and reflecting on the school year in a variety of ways. We congratulate the Vincent Massey Class of 2025, who will be graduating on Monday, June 23.
On Tuesday June 24 we will come together for our final assemblies and our traditional “Clap-Out” will be in the afternoon on June 26, recognizing and celebrating the students and staff who are leaving Vincent Massey.
On behalf of the Vincent Massey staff, we wish all our students a safe and enjoyable summer. Learning happens in many ways, and we hope that there is opportunity for enrichment and learning throughout the summer.
We extend a special farewell to the students and families who are leaving Vincent Massey and who will not be returning to Vincent Massey in September.
Please be reminded that the last day of school for students is Thursday, June 26.

I want to take this opportunity to thank each family for how welcoming you’ve been since I arrived at Vincent Massey in October 2023. Your support matters and it helped in making the decisions we make to support your child. I will miss all the students at Vincent Massey as each brings joy in their unique way. I am confident that the new Vice-Principal Mrs. Jones will continue to work alongside Ms. Lawton to continue the excellent work we have been doing to ensure your child’s success. Thank you and best wishes!
Supply Administrator This Week
Ms. Lawton will continue to be at school for half days this week. We will continue to have a supply administrator at the school when Ms. Lawton is absent. Please continue to contact your child’s teacher, the office, or Ms. Hunt with any time-sensitive questions.

ARE YOU MOVING FOR 2025-2026?
The end of the school year also brings a time for us to say a farewell to the students and families who are moving away from Vincent Massey. We wish all our students who are moving many successes in your new schools.
If you are moving and you have not yet informed the office yet, please contact Ms. Young or Ms. Corner by phone or email as soon as possible.
TERM 2 REPORT CARDS - JUNE 24
Term 2 Report Cards will be sent by email on Tuesday, June 24. You will need your child’s OEN Number to access their report card. The OEN Number can be found on previous report cards.
Final IEP’s will be sent by hard copy on Tuesday, June 24.
CLASS PLACEMENT INFORMATION FOR 2025-2026
Class placement information for 2025-2026 will be available through the Parent Portal at the end of August. Families will receive an email in August with instructions about accessing class placement information. School organization and class placements continue to change throughout the summer as staffing and enrollment continues to change.
SCHOOL YEAR CALENDAR 2025-2026
The first day of school for 2025-2026 is Tuesday, September 2, 2025.

LOST & FOUND AND MEDICATIONS
Our Lost & Found is available until the end of Friday, June 27. Families are welcome to stop by to pick up any items that may have not returned home.
If your child has medication at school, please stop by the office to pick it up this week.
